inker in your AI app (MCP)

Connect inker to Claude, ChatGPT and other apps that support the Model Context Protocol. Your assistant can then find models, show you prices and create images, video, audio and 3D with your inker coins.

Paste this address where your app asks for an MCP server or custom connector. You sign in with your inker account; no API key is needed.

Claude (web and desktop)

Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
Name it inker and paste the server URL.
Choose Connect, sign in to inker and allow access.
In a chat, enable inker in the tools menu and ask, for example: “Make a watercolor image of a lighthouse at dawn.”

Claude Code

Add the server once, then run /mcp in Claude Code and choose inker to sign in in your browser:

ChatGPT

Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
Choose Create, name it inker, paste the server URL and choose OAuth for authentication.
Sign in to inker and allow access, then pick inker in a new chat.

Other MCP clients

inker uses Streamable HTTP and OAuth 2.1 with discovery (protected resource metadata, dynamic client registration and PKCE), so most clients only need the URL. Clients configured with JSON usually take:

What an app can do

When you connect, you choose to allow these permissions. You can disconnect an app at any time under Connected apps on your account page.

Costs

Listing models, getting prices and checking generations is free.
Every generation spends coins, at the same prices as the studio. Your assistant should quote first, tell you the price and wait for your yes.
Each generation carries a spending limit (max coins): inker never charges more, and refuses the generation if the price is higher.
Failed and canceled generations are refunded in full. Retries of the same request are recognized and not charged twice.

Content and privacy

The same rules apply as in the studio: our acceptable use policy and the consent confirmations some tools require. Results stay in your library. Download links in your app expire after a few hours.
